Policies and Guidelines
A Library Card is non-transferable. Student's caught using a library card of another person is subject for disciplinary action by the School Library.
Students caught mutilating/stealing a book will be assessed the full cost involved in replacing the damaged or stolen book and/or will be suspended upon the recommendation of the School Library.
Upon leaving the library, present your Library Card and fill-in the necessary information in the Book Card. Return the filled-in cards to the Librarian on-duty at the circulation counter for proper check and stamping of due date and releasing of book.
An overdue fine is going to be charged when the book is not returned on time. Sundays and Holidays are excluded in the computation of overdue fines.
Noisy students or those who disturb their seatmate will be sent out of the library and he/she will be subjected for a disciplinary action by the School Library.
Students cannot borrow another book with unsettled obligations (overdue fines or books not return).

For regular class days, the library opens from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 6 pm, with No Noon Break. In the case of Graduate School when classes are held on a Saturday, libraries will open during class hours and as per request. For summer and semestral break, the library opens from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Failure to return for one day of a General Education book is charged P10.00 and a Professional Book for P20.00.
To give considerations and waive the fines and penalties during natural calamities, pandemic and other circumstances that cannot be avoided, they will be allowed to return the books without fines and penalties after a week that they are allowed to return to the campus.

Authorized Users

- All registered students of the JBLF System
- All registered students of the JBLF System
- All academic and administrative officers, faculty, members, and employees of the College/University
- Alumni
- Researchers and students of other schools with proper identification, but subject to the following:
- Present their Library Borrower’s Card/School ID
- Present recommendation letter from their respective school librarian
- Allowed to use one book at a time in the research room; and
- Not allowed to borrow books for overnight use. However, they are allowed to photocopy the materials they need through the facilities within the campus.
Library Borrower’s Card
- Every student is required to have a library borrower’s card which he/she will present at the entrance every time he/she enters the research room.
- The library card is valid only for the current semester or summer term.
- Library cards are non-transferrable.
- Lost library card shall be re-issued provided the student shall secure clearance and pays the corresponding amount for a replacement.
Lost and Damaged
- Fines may be terminated at the request of the student concerned after he/she reports a lost book. Lost or badly damaged books shall be replaced at cost. The original book remains the property of the library.
Fines/Penalties
- Students
- Fines and penalties shall be charged from students with overdue books according to fines imposed as posted.
- Professional Books – P2.00/hour
- General Education Books – P1.00/hour
- Fiction Books – P1.00/day
Failure to return for one day of a General Education book is charged P10.00 and a Professional Book for P20.00.
- Faculty and Staff
- Faculty and staff shall be subjected to fines and penalties for overdue books according to imposed fines with rates as per #1 above.

- Monthly monitoring of overdue books of faculty and staff. In case of lost book incurred by faculty or staff, they should replace the same book or pay the corresponding cost at the accounting office.
